“Joe was great to work with, did a fantastic job and communicated well.”
TV mounting in Millcreek, done in an afternoon.
Basement family rooms, fireplace walls and bedrooms in Millcreek's ramblers and split levels. Level, secure and no cables hanging down.
Everything a good mount needs
Not just four holes and a bracket. Here is what every Handy's TV visit covers.
What we see on Millcreek TV walls
A lot of Millcreek homes are 1950s to 1970s ramblers and split levels with finished basements. Basement walls are usually framed with wood studs, which makes a very solid mount. Where the wall is poured concrete or block, we use masonry anchors rated for the load.
Upstairs, brick and stone fireplaces are common. Before we drill above one, we check the heat, the viewing height and what is behind the surface. If a tilting or pull down mount will save your neck, we will say so.
- Basement walls: studs or concrete, both handled
- Fireplace walls checked for heat and structure first
- Millcreek is inside our regular service area
How long will my TV take?

Send us a photo
Send a quick note with a photo of the wall and the TV size. It helps us bring the right mount hardware.
We check the wall
Your technician finds the studs or checks the masonry, confirms height with you and confirms the details before drilling.
Mounted, tidy, tested
Mounted and leveled, cables managed, TV tested and the mess gone. Usually a 2 to 3 hour visit.

TV mounting across the valley
Do you mount TVs in Millcreek?
Yes. Millcreek is inside our regular service area, and TV mounting is one of the most booked jobs there.
How long does TV mounting take?
Most TV mounting visits take 2 to 3 hours, including hiding the cables. Above a fireplace, on brick or stone, or with an in wall power kit can take longer.
Can you mount a TV above a fireplace?
Usually, yes. We check heat, viewing height and what is behind the surface first. Our guide to mounting above a fireplace covers what to know before you drill.
Do you hide the cables?
Yes. We tuck cables with a paintable raceway or route them in the wall where it is appropriate, using an in wall rated power kit so the setup stays code friendly.
Do I need to buy the mount?
You can supply your own or we can advise on one. The mount needs to be rated for your TV's weight and VESA pattern.
What wall types can you mount on?
Drywall over wood or metal studs, brick, stone and concrete. Each needs different fasteners, and we bring the right ones.
Ready to get that TV off the stand?
Send us a photo of the wall and the team will get back to you about timing.
